Phoebe Gildea

Phoebe Gildea (they/she) is an active performer and music educator based in Portland, Oregon. Called “radiant on stage” (Oregon ArtsWatch) as the titular fairy in Iolanthe, and then praised for giving an “intense, gritty performance” (BroadwayWorld) in the punk rock musical LIZZIE, they enjoy a notably versatile career in music and theater. Other favorite credits have included Emma (Jekyll & Hyde), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Amalia (She Loves Me), and Alto Soloist in Bach’s Magnificat and Handel’s Messiah. Phoebe is currently a candidate for a Master of Arts degree from the Voice Study Centre at Universy of Essex.
